Well, you too, can contribute to "the largest climate experiment ever undertaken". It's a project at Oxford that will run climate models with the spare processing power of your machine while your're not using it. It's called distributed computing

There is no shortage of good hiking around. So far we've been to Mt. Philo, Snake Mountain, South Hero, Eagle Mountain and lots of other cool little places.The smaller mountains are perfect for the winter hiking and South Hero has this awesome park out of old railroad tracks extending into the lake.Lots and lots of birds.
